The Aggie

The St Agnes Hotel Cornwall serves breakfast, lunch and dinner Monday to Sunday and we offer accommodation throughout the year.

The Aggie is a vibrant pub in the centre of the village directly opposite St Agnes Church. Family run by Tammy and Neal, with Bill the Head Chef and Emma, Bill's partner the Assistant Manager. Not forgetting Oakley the family dog who is very much part of the pub, so we are also extremely dog friendly.

There has been an inn on this site since the 17th Century. Later tin mining in the area brought the railway to St Agnes and a need for a commercial hotel.

Today we remain a proper Cornish pub with an open fireplace, stone tiled floors, old wooden beams, where in the colder months, you can cosy up next to the roaring log fire with one of our famous Sunday roasts. The rooms above the inn are still here too, but along with the rest of the pub, these have undergone major renovations throughout lockdown.

A vibrant, distinctly contemporary space both indoors and outdoors now awaits you at the St Agnes Hotel. The perfect backdrop for your Cornish family adventure, coastal getaway or a romantic weekend break.

In & Around St Agnes

St Agnes has a fascinating history with its mining and seafaring heritage. The surrounding landscape is beautiful, located on the stunning North Cornwall coast, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and a World Heritage Site. While the coast and rivers are ideal for all sorts of watersports.

There are many beautiful beaches in the area. We are just 4 miles from the Coast to Coast Cycle Trail and there are numerous walks direct from the pub. Step straight from the hotel and amble down Stippy Stappy to Trevaunance Cove. Hire bikes, walk the coastal path, sea kayak or just unwind in the friendliest of local Cornish pubs.
